Request a QuoteFlu vaccinations for Geelong workplaces
We provide on-site workplace flu vaccinations for businesses across Geelong, including Geelong CBD, Geelong West, Corio, Norlane, Belmont and Newtown. Geelong is serviced through our Melbourne flu vaccination program.
As the second-largest city in Victoria, Geelong has a significant commercial and industrial base. Whether your office is in the CBD or your team works from a site in the outer suburbs, the process is the same.
How the program runs
Start with the online quote. Staff numbers are adjustable and pricing updates in real time. Once you sign off online, we send a booking form for your preferred dates. We match those to nurse availability in the Geelong region.
Staff receive a booking link and SMS reminders. We supply promotional material for internal communications. For workplaces without prior uptake data, about 35% participation is a reasonable estimate.
On the day
The nurse immuniser arrives 10 to 15 minutes before the first appointment. You need a quiet room with a table and chairs. Each vaccination takes about two minutes, meaning the nurse can work through 30 to 32 staff per hour.
After the session
Every vaccination is recorded with the Australian Immunisation Register. Staff who book online receive a PDF vaccination certificate. A participation report is sent to you with breakdowns by department, location or cost centre.
Employees who cannot attend
Staff who are away on the day can use a pharmacy voucher at any of 2,000+ partner pharmacies. This is paid for by the employer, so employees have no cost to cover.
Why workplace vaccination matters in Geelong
Flu season in Australia runs from April to October, with the worst period between June and September. Recovery from influenza can stretch over two weeks. For Geelong employers, particularly those with teams across multiple sites, on-site vaccination is a practical way to protect staff without sending them off-site. More information on the benefits of workplace flu vaccination is on our website. The Australian Immunisation Handbook has additional clinical detail.
