Corporate Care provides on-site flu vaccination programs for workplaces across regional Queensland, including Toowoomba, Rockhampton, Townsville, Cairns and Mackay. This service extends from our Brisbane flu vaccination program to cover employers outside the south-east corner.
How we service regional areas
The booking process is the same regardless of location. Start with the online quote tool, where you can adjust staff numbers and see pricing in real time. After signing online, you submit a booking form with preferred dates. We coordinate nurse immuniser availability for your region and confirm your session.
For regional workplaces, timing matters. Getting your booking in early during the season gives us more flexibility with scheduling. Flu season in Australia runs from April to October, with the peak falling between June and September.
What your staff need to know
Once a date is confirmed, staff receive a personal booking link and SMS reminders. We supply promotional material to help get the word out. If you have no previous uptake data, plan for roughly 35% of staff to participate.
On the day, the nurse arrives 10 to 15 minutes before the first slot. Each vaccination takes about two minutes, and the nurse can work through 30 to 32 people per hour. All you need to provide is a room with a table and chairs.
Records, certificates and missed staff
Every dose is recorded with the Australian Immunisation Register. Staff who book online receive a PDF vaccination certificate. You get a participation report broken down by department, location or cost centre.
Employees who miss the on-site session can use a pharmacy voucher at any of 2,000+ partner pharmacies. This is particularly useful for regional employers where staff might be spread across multiple sites or working in the field. The employer covers the voucher cost.
