Outsourcing Your Flu Vaccination Program
Some organisations want a flu vaccination program but don’t want to manage it. The HR team is stretched, facilities has other priorities, and nobody has the bandwidth to coordinate nurses, chase bookings, and handle the follow-up. That’s the situation our outsourcing service is designed for.
Corporate Care takes ownership of the entire program. Your involvement is limited to approving the quote and telling staff it’s happening. We handle everything else.
What we manage
When you outsource to Corporate Care, we take care of:
- Scheduling clinics at each of your sites, matched to nurse availability
- Distributing booking links to staff so they can select time slots
- Sending SMS reminders ahead of clinic dates
- Providing promotional material to help drive participation
- Running the onsite clinics with AHPRA-registered Registered Nurse Immunisers
- Recording all vaccinations with the Australian Immunisation Register
- Issuing PDF vaccination certificates to staff who book online
- Distributing pharmacy vouchers for staff who miss the onsite clinic
- Producing participation reports broken down however you need them
Who uses this service
The outsourcing model tends to suit larger organisations, particularly those with lean HR or workplace health teams. It also works well for companies that have tried running the program internally and found it takes more time than expected. Coordinating across multiple sites, chasing staff to book, managing the nurse schedule, dealing with vouchers for absent employees: it adds up.
If your organisation has sites across multiple cities, the coordination complexity increases. We already operate nationally across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, and beyond, so adding your sites to our schedule is straightforward.
Clinical standards remain the same
Outsourcing the management doesn’t change the clinical quality. Every nurse holds current AHPRA registration and works according to the Australian Immunisation Handbook. The nurse immuniser hotline is available throughout the program. Vaccinations run at the same pace as our standard onsite service: about two minutes per person, 30 to 32 people per hour, with the nurse arriving 10 to 15 minutes early.
Reporting
You still get full visibility over the program’s results. Participation reports can be segmented by department, location, or cost centre. The average workplace uptake sits around 35%, though this varies depending on how well the program is communicated internally, something we can help with through the promotional material we provide.
Pricing and next steps
No Medicare rebate applies for employer-initiated mass immunisation services. The online quote is adjustable in real time and can be signed online. If you’d prefer to understand the service options before committing, our services overview covers the full range, and you’re welcome to get in touch to discuss what would work for your organisation.
