Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed 18 April 2026

Corporate Care is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. As a healthcare provider serving communities across Australia and New Zealand, we believe access to health services information should never be a barrier.

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and comply with the Australian Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (DDA).

What We Have Done

  • Keyboard navigation – You can navigate our entire site using a keyboard, including menus and forms.
  • Skip to content – A skip link lets you jump straight past the navigation to the main content.
  • Screen reader support – We use ARIA labels on navigation, forms, and interactive elements so assistive technologies can interpret them correctly.
  • Visible focus – When you tab through the site, every interactive element shows a clear focus outline.
  • Image descriptions – All meaningful images have descriptive alt text. Decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
  • Colour contrast – Text meets a minimum contrast ratio of 4.5:1 against its background, as required by WCAG Success Criterion 1.4.3.
  • Clear page structure – We use proper headings, landmarks, and semantic HTML so the page structure makes sense without visuals.
  • Accessible forms – All form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and error messages are descriptive.
  • Reduced motion – If you have reduced motion enabled in your system settings, animations are minimised.
  • Touch targets – Buttons and links are at least 44×44 pixels, following WCAG 2.5.5 guidelines.

Known Limitations

We are still working on improving the following:

  • Some older blog posts may have images with generic alt text – we are updating these progressively.
  • Third-party content such as embedded videos and external forms may not fully meet accessibility standards.
