Docklands has become one of Melbourne’s largest office precincts, with major employers spread across NewQuay, Victoria Harbour and Digital Harbour. We provide on-site flu vaccinations for businesses throughout this area as part of our Melbourne flu vaccination service.
Australian flu season runs April to October, peaking June to September. For large office buildings in Docklands, a single influenza case can move through shared floors and open-plan spaces quickly. Recovery from the flu can stretch over two weeks per person.
Booking your session
The process starts with an online quote where you can adjust numbers and see pricing in real time. After signing online, you submit a booking form with preferred dates. We match those to nurse availability in the Docklands area.
Your employees then receive a booking link and SMS reminders. We provide promotional material to help drive uptake. Without previous data, plan for around 35% participation.
The vaccination session
Our nurse immuniser arrives 10 to 15 minutes before the first appointment. You just need a room with a table and chairs. Each vaccination takes about two minutes, with the nurse working through 30 to 32 people per hour.
All vaccinations are recorded with the Australian Immunisation Register, and online bookers receive a PDF certificate. A full participation report follows the session.
Vouchers for staff who miss out
Employees who are working from home, travelling or on leave can use a pharmacy voucher at one of our 2,000+ partner pharmacies. The employer covers the cost.
