Our nurse immunisers visit workplaces across Melbourne’s northern suburbs, from the inner-city areas of Carlton, Fitzroy and Brunswick through to Coburg, Preston, Epping and Bundoora. This service is part of our broader Melbourne flu vaccination program.
Flu season and why it matters
In Australia, flu season stretches from April to October. The peak period falls between June and September. Influenza recovery can take two weeks or more, and in shared office environments the virus can spread between colleagues over the course of several weeks. How to get started
Use the online quote tool to see pricing for your team. Numbers are adjustable and pricing updates in real time. You sign online, then we send a booking form. Select your preferred dates and we match them to nurse availability in northern Melbourne.
Before and during the session
Staff receive a booking link and SMS reminders ahead of the day. We also provide promotional material for your internal comms. If you have no previous uptake data, roughly 35% of staff is a reasonable estimate.
The nurse arrives 10 to 15 minutes early and needs a room with a table and chairs. Each vaccination takes about two minutes, allowing 30 to 32 vaccinations per hour.
Records, certificates and vouchers
Every dose is recorded with the Australian Immunisation Register. Online bookers get a PDF vaccination certificate. After the session, you receive a participation report by department, location or cost centre.
Employees who miss the day can redeem a pharmacy voucher at any of our 2,000+ partner pharmacies across Australia. The employer covers the cost, so there is nothing for the employee to pay.
