We provide workplace flu vaccination sessions across St Kilda, St Kilda Road, Elwood, Balaclava and Windsor. These suburbs fall under our Melbourne flu vaccination service, and our nurse immunisers visit the area regularly during flu season.
St Kilda Road in particular has a large number of commercial offices, and many employers in the area run annual flu programs for their staff. If you have not organised one before, the process is straightforward.
Step by step
First, use the online quote tool to see pricing based on your team size. You can adjust numbers in real time. Once you sign off, we send a booking form where you select preferred dates. We match those to nurse availability in the St Kilda area.
Staff then receive a booking link and SMS reminders ahead of the session. If you want to promote the program internally, we supply ready-made material. Without historical data, around 35% of staff typically participate.
On the day, the nurse arrives 10 to 15 minutes early. Each vaccination takes roughly two minutes. That translates to about 30 to 32 people per hour.
Records and follow-up
All doses are registered with the Australian Immunisation Register. Online bookers receive a PDF vaccination certificate. You get a full participation report after the session, broken down however you need it.
Staff who cannot make it to the on-site session can use a pharmacy voucher at any of 2,000+ partner pharmacies. The employer pays for the voucher.
Flu season in Melbourne
Australian flu season runs from April to October, with the peak months being June through September. Influenza recovery can stretch over two weeks, which adds up across a team. For more on this, see our benefits page or read about vaccine side effects.
